After years of creating standalone illustrations,
I wanted to challenge myself with a larger, more detailed piece inspired by the city I’ve called home for the past 10 years, Barcelona. The project pushed
me to carefully balance composition, colour,
and recognisable elements of the city’s identity, resulting in one of my most ambitious illustrative works to date, which is now available as a print on my website.

While this piece is intentionally bold and provocative,
it represents an important moment in my creative journey. After developing my own illustrative style, I wanted
to challenge myself technically and create something more detailed, balanced, and ambitious, reconnecting with the same instinctive love for drawing I had as a kid. It remains one of my favourite pieces to date.

“Elefont” was the first design I ever sold and became one of my best-selling prints during university. At the time, digital design was completely new to me, so the response to the piece gave me the confidence to keep developing
my creative style and grow as a designer.
